If you regularly use Google Apps for Business, you might have noticed a few changes in your user experience, including an updated look for some of your most commonly used editing tools, like Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, to name a few. You might have also noticed a change to your Google bar, which is now a launcher for your favorite Google Apps tools as opposed to the traditional top bar navigation. This ensures a seamless Google Apps experience across the device of your choice, whether it’s accessing your calendar from your phone or editing a Doc from your laptop – the updated Google car is a streamlined way for you to move from tool to tool, regardless of the device you’re on. Your Google bar app launcher is located on the top right of your screen, and looks like a small grid – go ahead and click on it to access G+, search, Drive, YouTube and more!

As another note to our update, the Chrome Frame – a secure plug-in allowing developers to bring a more modern engine to older versions of Internet Explorer – will be retiring support in January 2014. Chrome for Business paired with Legacy Browser Support is an alternative you could be leveraging, and our team would be glad to provide you with more details! In line with Google’s aim to support the continuous modernization of technology, Google Apps will no longer be supporting Explorer 9 (IE9), since IE11 was recently released. You can read more about the browser support policy for Google Apps here.
