Since recently reaching the big 100 in employee count, we find it more important than ever here at SADA Systems to know what our employees are all about, inside and outside of work. We announced our 5 Core Values earlier on this year, as part of an explanation of what really drives our teams to do the (amazing!) work they do. Today, we’ll discuss a few fun facts about what our team members enjoy doing, including sharing a little more about where we live and the things we prefer, visually displayed in an infographic (created by one of our amazing in-house designers).
Age: nothing but a number
But for what it’s worth, 48% of our team consists of people under the age of 30! Don’t count out experience over youth, though – 32% of our company is over the age 30, while 20% are 40+. We have people from all walks of life contributing to the success of our projects.
Cultural roots: straight west coastin’
While we have employees from all over the world (including France, England, India and China), over 30% of our employees are from the United States – and specifically, California! We have remote team members located all across the US, including Texas, Washington, Illinois, Florida, Georgia and more – but with all this California sunshine at headquarters in Los Angeles, CA, everyone based at HQ finds it hard to leave!
Morning routines
As a cloud services and IT company based in LA, 40% of our people are drinking coffee first thing in the morning, and 70% are commuting in their own cars to work, while 15% of our employees are working from the comfort of their homes.
After hours
A dominant 63% of our team members are night owls over early birds, meaning time devoted to what we like doing outside of work. Taking home the top in our favorite hobbies is a whopping 53% enjoying an after-work aperitif (who doesn’t love a good Happy Hour?), followed by 40% loving sports and 31% of employees who enjoy whipping up a gourmet meal.
