Mark Vandenplas

Mark Vandenplas is dedicated to helping clients accelerate transformation through secure, integrated cloud solutions. With over 20 years of experience as a transformational technology leader, Mark has a proven track record of scaling high-performing global teams and delivering best-in-class strategies across the technology ecosystem.

Mark joins the executive team from SADA, An Insight company, where he held multiple leadership roles within both the delivery and sales organizations, most recently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Cloud Architecture. A change agent driven to improve operations and deliver growth, he has extensive experience establishing global engineering and architecture teams and leading large-scale initiatives, including directing a $200 million cloud investment strategy at a Fortune 1000 company. He helped to establish, grow, and refine the Architecture team at SADA. His expertise spans the full spectrum of modern IT, from enterprise architecture to security to AI, ensuring clients navigate complex environments with precision and efficiency.

His approach emphasizes taking care of teammates and clients alike to drive highly sought-after outcomes, ensuring that technology serves the people who use it.

Mark excels at bridging the gap between technical requirements and business goals, translating complex concepts effectively for stakeholders ranging from operations teams to C-suite executives. Mark combines the right technology with the right expertise to future-proof client businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago. 

Outside of the office, Mark is a devoted husband and father to two children. An enthusiast of all holidays, he particularly enjoys celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and Cinco de Mayo with friends and family. Mark also possesses an adventurous spirit and a deep fascination with storm chasing, though he largely does so virtually to spend quality time with his family.
