One of the trendy buzzwords I thank the millennials for is the phrase corporate social responsibility (CSR.)
Overlooked in business models of our parents’ time, this idea focuses on the importance of companies holding themselves accountable for the betterment of our society.
SADA’s Philanthropic Involvement
SADA’s philanthropic involvement has been extensive within our own community over the years as we continually seek new ways to incorporate CSR into our company structure.
SADA Systems has participated in events that help give back to our local community from fundraising for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to adopting local families during the holidays.
Last year, SADA HQ (North Hollywood), started an on-going soap drive to put the hotel soaps and shampoos collecting dust from business trips’ past, to good use. We donate these soaps for care packages to the Los Angeles Family Housing (LAFH) organization. This group’s mission is to help individuals and families struggling with homelessness get back to a stable and safe living situation. It’s rewarding to partner with a company that empowers individuals and families to really help deliver solutions that prevent these families from future homelessness.

Upcoming Opportunities to Give Back
As fall approaches, SADA Systems will continue to focus on our core values with activities geared towards giving back to our local communities. We will be collecting socks during October’s Socktober fundraiser, volunteering to serve meals at LAFH’s shelter, and partnering with CHLA’s Adopt-a-Family program. We continue to hold ourselves responsible for improving the world- starting in our own backyard.
