If you think that Google+ is just for social networking, think again. This powerhouse has a lot of business-friendly features under the hood, and you should give it serious attention. Here are just a couple reasons why:
An active Google+ page for your business will improve your Search Engine Ranking on Google searches, and not only that– your Google+ page will appear in the right sidebar, space normally taken up by ads. That’s twice the exposure for every search! A search for SADA Systems, for example, shows website listing on the left, and our Google+ page on the right, complete with large logo, map, address and phone number. If a customer is trying to find you, you want to make it as easy for them as possible. A Google+ profile will help you do just that, as well as help you track the data that comes with those clicks.
Once you have a Google+ page, you can put customers into different circles and share with them selectively. Whether you want to distinguish by region, age, or initial contact, you can use Google+ circles to make sure you only share relevant information, and customize your content. You can do the same internally, by creating circles for colleagues and sharing information through Google+.
