Why SADA Encourages Unlimited PTO

Studies show PTO increases employee productivity, creativity and job satisfaction. The New York Times highlighted an internal study by Ernst & Young, who found that “for every 10 hours of vacation time one of its employees took, their year-end performance ratings from supervisors improved by 8 percent. Frequent vacationers were also significantly less likely to leave the firm.”
Abe Sycip, Practice Lead for our Project Management Team and frequent vacationer, encourages his team to travel as much as possible. Abe recommends “ PTO in advance to accommodate for any projects or deadlines,” but don’t let work stop you. His team tally for this year so far? Japan, Iceland, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and counting. With unlimited PTO, SADA trusts its employees to take their vacations responsibly. SADA definitely cultivates a work hard, play hard culture that our employees thrive in.
Congratulations to SADA Systems for building an organization focused on employee satisfaction and performance,” says Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “It is clear through the employee surveys that this is a special company, one where executives and management focus on making work more than…just work!”
How SADA Encourages Unlimited PTO

We’ve also started a contest as to who can get the best picture with their SADA swag while on vacation! Top contender right now comes from Blackbeards Castle, St. Thomas.
I’m sure there are a number of factors that contribute to SADA’s success, but I can’t imagine anything topping the people that work here. Our goal is to increase team productivity – one vacation at a time.
