2014-Women-In-Business-AwardsExciting news! The San Fernando Business Journal recently featured our very own, Annie Safoian, CFO of SADA Systems, in an article discussing SADA’s growth and Annie’s perspective as a female business owner in the male-dominated technology industry. SADA is listed as the #8 women-owned business in the SFBJ’s List of Women-Owned Businesses.

In the article, Annie talks about SADA’s humble origins, first operating out of a garage, to the company’s position in the cloud computing field today, as a Google and Microsoft partner reporting $28 million in revenue in 2013. Taken from the article, Annie remarks, “I started out of home. We didn’t have any couches or any other furniture, but we had a brand new computer.” Today, SADA’s mission statement is that we believe technology can empower people to transform their world. That core belief with Annie’s $3,500 investment in a computer and other equipment, and has grown today to become one of the leading cloud services providers in the world, completing some of the largest cloud migrations to date, including the Los Angeles Unified School District, Chicago Public Schools, Yahoo!, BCBGMaxazria, the City of Omaha and others.

SADA has received multiple accreditations and awards across its services for Google Enterprise and Microsoft cloud solutions, as well as its Infrastructure Management Services. Since January 2013, these awards have included the distinction of being named the 2013 North America Partner of the Year for Google Maps as well as Google Apps for Government for the company’s Google Enterprise practice. SADA was also designated as one of only 35 Microsoft National Systems Integrators, a designation given to an exclusive group of U.S. partners with Microsoft technology expertise, geographic scale, and a commitment to helping customers deploy Microsoft technologies. While SADA is consistently developing and refining its cloud services delivery model and development practice, SADA Systems showed commitment to its Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) practice for clients still invested in on-premise infrastructure by recently revamping its services. Shortly afterwards, SADA premiered on the MSPmentor 501 Global Edition and North America edition, identifying the top managed services providers globally and in North America.

As for Annie’s opinion on how difficult it is to be one of SADA’s top executives, and a woman? “I think women can be even more successful than men. We are more organized and better managers.”

Well said, Annie! Check out the rest of the article below.
