SADA CTO Named 2020 Channel Influencer Award Winner by Channel Partners, Channel Futures

SADA is excited to announce our CTO, Miles Ward, has been named a 2020 Channel Influencer Award winner by Channel Partners and Channel Futures. The awards recognize the people, technologies, trends and organizations that will shape the new channel in 2020.

Miles Ward was one of only nine channel innovators cited as being a thought leader mapping the direction of the new channel.

“On behalf of SADA, I’m honored to be named 2020 Channel Influencer. This recognition confirms our commitment to advancing and driving awareness for innovative cloud technologies,” stated Miles Ward, CTO of SADA. “As a Google Cloud Premier Partner and Google Cloud MSP, we’re driven to continuously bring value to our enterprise and public sector customers to solve their most challenging business problems.”

As CTO at SADA, Miles leads SADA’s cloud strategy and solutions capabilities. His remit includes delivering next-generation solutions to challenges in big data and analytics, application migration, infrastructure automation, and cost optimization; reinforcing our engineering culture; and engaging with customers on their most complex and ambitious plans around Google Cloud.

In a signature “influencer move,” Miles used his many years’ experience building and investing in the promise of the public cloud to launch 4 groundbreaking flat-rate cloud migration packages. Miles recognized customers’ needs for pre-packaged offerings that take the mystery out of cloud migrations, and capitalized on SADA’s decades of in-market client delivery successes to create predictability around timelines, costs, and deliverables.

Before SADA, Miles served as Director and Global Lead for Solutions at Google Cloud. He founded Google Cloud’s Solutions Architecture practice, launched hundreds of solutions, built Style-Detection and Hummus AI APIs, built CloudHero, designed the pricing and TCO calculators, and helped thousands of customers like Twitter (who migrated the world’s largest Hadoop cluster to public cloud), Audi USA (who replatformed to k8s before it was out of alpha), and Banco Itau (he helped design the intercloud architecture for the bank of the future).

As the 2018 Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year, SADA has gained global accolades as an exceptional service provider with proven expertise in enterprise consulting, cloud platform migration, custom application development, managed services, user adoption, and change management. SADA is focused on delivering enterprise-grade solutions to our public sector, mid-market and large enterprise clients in various industries including healthcare, media and entertainment, retail, manufacturing, education, government, and professional services.

“Our editorial team looked back at the most intriguing and significant stories from last year to identify who and what they expect to make the biggest impact on the channel in the year ahead,” said Craig Galbraith, executive editor of Channel Partners and Channel Futures. “These winners effectively represent the wide spectrum of partner types, technologies and companies we cover on a daily basis, and they’re all names you can expect to be hearing a lot moving forward.”  All 51 of the 2020 winners are profiled in a digital publication available for download from the Channel Partners website.
